Abstract
Ein elektrisches Bauelement erzeugt bei einer Fehlfunktion eine vorbestimmte Waermemenge. Es wird vor Ueberhitzen geschuetzt, indem es mit einer Sicherung in einer Schaltung so angeordnet wird, dass die Sicherung und das elektrische Bauelement thermisch miteinander gekoppelt sind, sodass das Erzeugen der Waermemenge durch das elektrische Bauelement ein Material in der Sicherung zum Schmelzen bringt. Dadurch wird der Stromanschlusspfad des elektrischen Bauelements unterbrochen.
