Here, we demonstrate the wavelength tuning capabilities of liquid-core step-index fibers exemplarily by investigating the soliton fission process of a strong pump pulse of 300 fs launched at 1.92 μm wavelength in an anomalous dispersive CS 2 /silica fiber.
