Abstract
To reduce structure borne noise "Active Vibration Control" (AVC) is one possible solution. Different applications are discusses in recent times, e. g. active engine mounts based on piezoceramic stack actuators. Research has shown, that AVC has a huge potential to solve "Noise-Vibration-Harshness" (NVH) Problems especially in a frequency range where passive means fail.
To realize commercially available AVC products one has to overcome the actual laboratory state of the proposed solutions. Therefore it is necessary to reduce cost and size for the main components of AVC-Solutions, namely actuators, sensors, amplifiers and controllers. Within the paper different approaches to integrate, downsize and simplify these components are presented.
