Abstract
A 32x2 pixel optical TOF range sensor in standard 0.5 µm CMOS capable of acquiring up to 20k 3D-images/s is presented. Combination of CDS, S&H, multiple double short time integration, a high-speed synchronous shutter, and a phase synchronizer enables exposures <30ns with <5.2W/m²NEP. The 42 mm² chip dissipates 330mW.
