The quality of mobile applications is one essential factor for their success because users often immediately discard applications with insufficient quality. This thesis presents FIT4Apps, a quality assurance method, which focuses inspections and tests on the development of mobile applications. FIT4Apps effectively finds mobile-specific failures during development and consequently prevents at least 85% mobile-specific failures after release.
