Titel
Practical approach of a simulation system using different model basis
Abstract
Caused by new challenges, today's electrical power system is subjected to changes and improvements. An increasing number of grid connected converters the simulation of power systems needs to cover more voltage levels and time domains. This paper outlines a cross domain simulation approach, connecting three simulation systems, each based on different model. The proposed approach is simulated with a 20kV distribution grid, which contains two subsystems using phasor- and average value models (AVM) respectively. The dynamic reaction of the 110 kV and 0.4 kV grid are formulated as an operating-point-based transfer function at the common coupling point (CCP), which is based on the simulation result of detailed equivalent model (DEM).
