Abstract
WO 200246490 A UPAB: 20021010 NOVELTY - A coated substrate (I) has at least one surface having an optically transparent and electrically conductive layer system such that the ratio of the emissivity of the coated substrate epsilon to the emissivity of the uncoated substrate epsilon o is less than 0.2. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a process for reducing the emissivity of substrates by deposition of an optically transparent and electrically conductive system layer system such that the ratio of the emissivity ofthe coated substrate epsilon to the emissivity of the uncoated substrate epsilon o is less than 0.2. USE - The coated substrates (I) are useful for the thermal insulation of buildings, for the reduction of condensation at substrates with high thermal emission properties and for the reduction of condensation at vehicle glass (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The coated substrates (I) have reduced emissivity.
