Um ein Messrad (1) fuer Schienenfahrzeuge mit einer Radscheibe (6) und einem auf der radialen Aussenseite der Radscheibe (6) angeordneten Radreifen (7) zur Messung der im Betrieb angreifenden Hochkraefte und/oder Drehmomente mittels Messsensoren (9), insbesondere Dehnungsmessstreifen, anzugeben, mit dem sich die an den mit Radlasten von circa 10 t belasteten Raeder von Schienenfahrzeugen angreifenden Hochkraefte beziehungsweise Drehmomente komponentenweise richtig, das heisst, ohne beispielsweise durch dynamische Massekraefte bedingte systematische Fehler, messen lassen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Messrad (1) an dem Radreifen (7) mit mindestesn einem Radreifen-Messsensor (11) ausgestattet ist.
