Abstract
Tue BMBF-funded WING-project „PlanDE - Planare dielektrische Elastomeraktoren in Multilayer- technologie für industrielle Anwendungen" investigates the production and industrial application of dielectric elastomer stack actuators. In the project silicone as weil as polyurethane materials are improved and used. A new wet deposition process based on polyurethane and silicone raw materials is developed. Also a stacking process using pre-made elastomeric films is developed and results are presented. • Polyurethane and silicone performance is compared.
