Title

Generation and characterization of ultrashort airy pulses

Abstract
We demonstrate the generation of ultrashort Airy pulses with tailored duration and acceleration properties. Their full temporal evolution is mapped in a flexible and simple one beam experiment, which features a tunable dispersion element and an intrinsic time reference. Using this setup we can experimentally verify the nondispersiveness and self-acceleration of the Airy pulses.
