Erhöhte Funktionalität von Werkzeugen und Komponenten durch strukturierte Oberflächen
Abstract
The requirements on component surfaces have considerable influence on the required process chain, the production cost and on the functionality of the final product eventually. The topography and the peripheral zone often reflect the entire history of production. However, the conclusive finishing process as the last stage in the process chain is particularly important and shall ensure the desired surface condition. This paper shows possibilities of modifying surfaces for applications in the fields of tribology and mould making. Influences on friction and wear behaviour of oil-lubricated slide pairings are investigated by applying specific micro textures. In addition, surface topographies in pressing tools for shaping glass fibre-reinforced plastics are examined regarding their demoulding behaviour and subsequent lacquering of SMC formed parts.
