More and more spatial audio systems are used for situations with thousands of listeners. The production of the show as well system configuration and setup are a challenge. Therefore UI.FM has been developed, a software framework which allows to develop collaborative realtime applications for spatial audio. With the help of UI.FM multiple engineers can work on a common object using wireless mobile devices. This can be the positioning of sound sources, loudspeaker equalization, rendering cluster monitoring and much mor. The background of the talk is our experiences with spatial audio production for the seventhousand listeners venues at Bregenzer Festspiele and Seefestspiele Mörbisch.
