We present a solution to allow integration of geological insight in the velocity model building, testing the impact of different geological scenarios on the resulting image. The solution consists of a seamless system of flexible model editing and fast prestack migrations. This creates an arena for the geophysicist and the geologist to work together. The enabling component is the interactivity, or the ability to work in the same time frame. This means that several complete geological scenarios, represented as velocity models, can be created and resulting image analyzed during the course of a working day. Copyright
