Titel
User interface adaptation for heterogeneous displays
Abstract
Smartphones, tablet PCs or even smart watches are conquering our digital life. These devices are constantly connected to the internet and easy available for the user. The distribution of information to various, heterogeneous displays and devices needs new concepts to assess, review and share the information in a ubiquitous display environment. The overall goal of the work is to design a concept to assess and confirm information and to share it to and from various, heterogeneous displays such as smart pads, smart watches or large scale monitors. The same information-core should be displayed on a monitor, on a tablet, on a smart phone and maybe also on the display of a monochrome digital watch (96*96 px resolution). The subject of this master thesis is the conceptual design and implementation of a framework for the extraction of the existing application GUI, to annotate and reconfigure it manually and finally to adapt it for heterogeneous displays.
