Eine offene Telemetrieplattform für implantierbare Medizintechnik
Abstract

In the cooperation project COMPASS all components of an open telemetric platform were developed for the application in medical remote monitoring. For several hardware components fabrication processes were implemented at MSE Berg. The packaging of integrated circuits was introduced for a miniaturised, implantable pressure sensor. Furthermore the electronic module of a research implant with RF-telemetric interface was fabricated, as well as a miniaturised mobile patient device meeting the requirements of complex EM shielding. In addition an extended infrastructure for IT/mobile communication with connection to medical devices emerged from the research syndicate of German companies and institutes. The COMPASS project laid the foundations for other manufacturers to transfer their data separately and safe through the backend of the HomeMonitoring system. In many cases the combination of different datasets from one patient will enhance the success of a therapy.
