Abstract
The Stuttgart Enterprise Model represents a system with expanded objectives aiming at transformable enterprise structures: The continuous, extremely fast and smooth adaption of a factory to changes and to a transforming environment. The Stuttgart Enterprise Model strives for a scalable approach including one basic model of process performance units that follows the main principles of cooperation, self-organization, self-optimization, self-monitoring, self-configuration and technical intelligence. The technical and organizational processes that are connected by information and material flows constitute the elements of production. The Stuttgart Enterprise Model represents a system with expanded objectives. It provides solution models, methods, tools and procedures to solve the major problems in day-to-day business, for middle and long-term planning activities & strategies associated with increasing the competitiveness aiming at transformable enterprise structure.

Das Stuttgarter Unternehmensmodell sucht einen skalierbaren Ansatz mit einem Grundmodell der Leistungseinheiten für die Prozesse, das den Grundprinzipien, Kooperation, Selbstorganisation, Selbstoptimierung, Selbstkontrolle, Selbstkonfiguration und technische Intelligenz folgt. Elemente der Produktion sind die technischen und organisatorischen Prozesse, die im Informations- und Materialfluss miteinander verknüpft sind. Das Stuttgarter Unternehmensmodell, als ein Produktionssystem mit erweiterter Zielsetzung, liefert Lösungsmodelle, Methoden, Instrumente und Vorgehensweisen für die wesentlichen Problemstellungen im Betrieb eines Unternehmens zur Erhöhung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und Steigerung der Wandlungsfähigkeit.
