Abstract
Magnetic bead handling is a common tool in on-chip biodetection systems and research is improving fast. We developed a technology which is able to detect the load of a magnetic particle by forcing the particle to describe certain trajectories with switching magnets. This allows us to net-focus magnetic beads in a hydrodynamic system and to give us a quantitative insight about how many molecules are bound to the particle surface.
