Abstract
Zum Schutz eines stationaeren Objekts gegen Explosions- und/oder Beschusslasten sieht die Erfindung eine Vorrichtung vor, die gekennzeichnet ist durch eine der Explosions- oder Beschusslast entgegengerichtete Stosswellenschicht aus mit Abstand zueinander angeordneten dachfoermigen Strukturen.

The shock wave layer consists of roof-like structures (2) arranged in a distance from each other. The roof-like structures can be formed angularly pointed or curved in arc shape, and can be made of steel or synthetic fiber-reinforced material. A hard layer (4) is included to serve as an impulse wave crusher. USE - For protecting a stationary object, e.g. building, manufacturing plant, from explosion or bombardment. Also used in testing commercial or military explosives, ammunitions and weapons. ADVANTAGE - Provides an explosion protection device that has a roof-like structure that reduces impulse waves created by an explosion. Prevents a stationary object or structure from being deformed due to an explosion. Provides an explosion device that can be installed on a building or structure without ruining the external appearance of the building or structure.
