Abstract
High speed InP-based travelling wave electrode (TWE) Mach-Zehnder modulators are presented and their integration capabilities to fabricate next generations of compact and high capacity transmitter components by utilizing so-called ldquomonolithic-on-hybridrdquo integration approaches are emphasized.
