Contribution to efficient water use and reducing environmental impact of wastewater in industry

The objective of this thesis is the development of an improvement system for the reduction of water consumption in industrial production and the environmental impact by wastewater discharge. A concept is constructed, by which the critical water use from processes through cells to the factory level will be identified and thus the improvement measures can be undertaken based on that water analysis.
