Abstract
The invention relates to a high-temperature resistant hollow body which can be subjected to internal pressure and which can be used, for example, for hot-gas lines in power plants, for heat exchangers and recuperators in high-temperature systems, for pressurized, liquid-conveying pipes in the chemicals industry or for heating pipes, which comprises a main body for receiving liquids having a temperature greater than approximately 100 DEG C, a fiber reinforcement enclosing the main body on the outside having a lower thermal expansion coefficient relative to the main body and an inside diameter which exceeds the outside diameter of the main body at room temperature, characterized in that there is a medium between the main body and the inside of the fiber reinforcement, which medium allows for a reduction of the distance between the main body and the inside of the fiber reinforcement, wherein the medium has a solid intermediate layer enclosing the main body, which intermediate layer consists either of an inorganic material or comprises such a material or is created by heat treatment / pyrolysis and has optionally cracks, gaps and/or pores. The invention furthermore relates to an intermediate product for producing the hollow body and a method for the production thereof.
