The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a light weight optical mirror (1) or a mirror (1') comprising at least one cooling channel, the method comprising : - forming a mirror body (2) by DEG iteratively depositing a metallic powder in layers (4a, 4b, 4c) and DEG applying, for each of the layers (4a, 4b, 4c), heat at least in a subarea (5a, 5b, 5c) of this layer (4a, 4b, 4c), thereby fusing or sinterin the powder in this subarea (5a, 5b, 5c) and bonding it to a previously deposited layer (4a, 4b, 4c), the powder remaining in an unfused state in at least one region (6), the method further comprising forming at least one cavity (7) within the carrier (2) by removing the unfused powder from said region (6) and producing a mirror surface (8) at a closed surface (9) of the mirror body (2). The invention further relates to an optical mirror (1) and to an optical device.
