The flow and form filling behavior of UHPC with and without fibers was simulated with the software CoRheoS. Different geometries were used and the experimental results are compared to the results of the numerical simulation. A special module of the simulation software allowed the prediction of fiber orientation by coupling the equations for material flow and the orientation of the fibers. Computer tomography was used to validate the analysis of the fiber distribution and orientation in the cast samples. The experimental flow behavior and fiber orientation was in qualitatively good agreement with the simulation results.
