Titel
Wind turbine modelling and identification for control system applications
Abstract
This paper deals with a model of a 3-bladed wind turbine and its identification. The linear, time-invariant state-space model has been developed at Fraunhofer IWES mainly for control engineering applications. Its parameters are obtained from an operational modal analysis carried out on a commercial 5MW turbine. The parameterised model is validated by comparison of estimated time series and measurement from a field test using an observer based estimation approach.
