We experimentally investigate 112-Gb/s polarization-switched quadrature phase-shift keying signals. In ultra long-haul wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) transmission experiments, we compare the performance of WDM channels with 1.07xsymbol rate spacing and a regular 50-GHz spacing.
