Logistic Chain Analyser for SME Companies

In today's business the Supply Chain Management (SCM) issues are becoming more and more into daily business. There are successful software packages with powerful organizational concepts applied in the consumer and automotive industry. For small and medium sized enterprises the needs towards SCM differ strongly from the appliance in the automotive or consumer goods industry. On the other hand there is a strong need for coordination and forecasting between partners in a supply chain of SMEs. In the following paragraphs we would like to focus on the needs of SME and to present a solution developed and applied in an SME enterprise within the ESPRIT Project 25226 MUSSELS (Multi Stages Enterprises Logistic Control System).
