Abstract
Die zunehmende Komplexität der Produktionssysteme und die wachsende Konkurrenz aufrund der Globalisierung verwandeln die Fabrik (um) planung in eine stetige, existenzielle Aufgabe. Die partizipative, team-basierte Planung - zum Beispiel mit dem am IPA entwickelten Planungstisch - zeigt, dass sich Qualität und Geschwindigkeit der Planung deutlich steigern lassen, wenn eine kommunikationsfördernde Plattform bereitsteht. Um den gesamten Planungsprozess zu betrachten, wird gegenwärtig die Software i-plant des Planungstisches weiterentwickelt.

Due to more complex production systems and competition by globalization factory planning turns into a continuous task that decides about economic survival. This demands modern planning software. The IPA approach participative and team-based planning realized with the Planning Table proofs the increase in quality and pace using an integration platform that encourages communication. This new platform concept ist currently being developed on the basis of the software of the Planning Table system called i-plant.
