The growing threat posed by high-power microwaves (HPM) also underlines the importance of means to detect high-strength electromagnetic fields. The Fraunhofer Institute for Technological Trend Analysis (INT) has been conducting research of its own into HPM detection and has developed a demonstrator for an HPM detection system for mobile and stationary use.
