Title

Non-invasive 4D blood flow and pressure quantification in central blood vessels via PC-MRI

Abstract
Purpose of this work is the demonstration of new methodsfor non-invasive assessment of detailed haemodynamical parameters in central blood vessels based on advanced postprocessing methods. In particular, we present a new finite-element-based method for computing 4D intravascular blood pressure differences. A verification using CFD methods and tests on real image data show the possible value of the method for clinical diagnosis and therapy planning.
