Titel
Dünnschichtsensorik zur Online-Überwachung von Scherschneidprozessen
Abstract

The application of sensor system for online monitoring of the cutting process is important for the economic efficiency. The integration of piezo-electrical sensor systems or strain gauges is not possible in the direct contact zone with the cutting stamp. Another problem is the mounting of commercial load cells in the flow of forces in machinery without any loss of stiffness. The integration of thin film sensor systems, which have total thickness of about 9 µm is the solution of these problems. They can be mounted in direct contact with the stamp, because the need only very little space and have tribological wear resistance with a hardness of 15-30 GPa and a coefficient of friction of 0, 2 against steel. They can detect static and dynamic load without any deformation of the layer system.
