A gas generator was characterised concerning the interior ballistic behaviour, the burning temperature and the security parameters of the formulation. The combustion module and the pellet geometry were designed on the basis of the elaborated results. The module was tested with a water tank and a nozzle. The pressure and temperature evolution in the combustion chamber and the water tank during the test are presented.
