Titel
Passive sampling as a method for air exchange measurements for whole building simulation of historic buildings
Abstract
The paper will focus on passive sampling as a method for air exchange measurements and its use for whole building simulation of historic buildings. At the example of the King's House on the Schachen and Linderhof Castle, both from Ludwig II. of Bavaria, the possibilities are explored. The main advantage is seen in the creation of an average infiltration rate by the long-term measurements as an input parameter for whole building simulation tools. The results of the air exchange measurements are used with the model WUFI®Plus developed by Fraunhofer and results are evaluated with climate measurements conducted in both buildings since several years.
