Titel
Developing context- and user groups sensitive learning scenarios with XML configuration
Abstract
We present an approach that separates the presentation of a simulation from the processing logic. This approach fulfils the requirement to generate simulation learning scenarios with tutorial help functionalities. Furthermore, the architecture provides the possibilities for analysing user interactions, classifying learners by the help of the inverse coefficient of orientation and giving context- and user group sensitive helps. With this approach learners could examine different uses of complex technical devices. Developers of simulations only have to prepare HTML pages representing different status within the learning scenarios. Once created, the HTML pages can easily be reused by building new XML documents for the configuration of the simulation system.
