GEMoDe - a graphics engine for mobile devices
Abstract
The presentation of graphical data on mobile devices makes special demands dues to resource limitations, different interaction, diversity of mobile devices and the special application areas. Therefore, concepts for the development of graphics engines for stationary systems can not be adopted for mobile platforms without revision. In this paper, we present a graphics engine that is designed with focus on mobile-specific requirements. We describe design considerations, and architecture as well as first applications and evaluation results.
