Abstract
DE 102009057212 A1 UPAB: 20110621 NOVELTY - The component has an organic LED (OLED) layer stack (3) arranged between an anode (1) and an aluminum cathode (2) and comprising a function layer e.g. emission layer or absorption layer, made of an organic material. An electrically conductive buffer layer (4) and a short-circuit suppression layer (5) are arranged between the function layer and anode, where electric conductivity of the buffer layer is higher than that of the short-circuit suppression layer. The short-circuit suppression layer has uniform thickness (d) in its layer plane independent of topology of the adjacent layers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for manufacturing an electric component. USE - Electric component e.g. organic LED and organic solar cell (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrically conductive buffer layer and short-circuit suppression layer are arranged between the function layer and anode, and the short-circuit suppression layer has uniform thickness in its layer plane independent of topology of the adjacent layers, where the electric conductivity of the buffer layer is higher than that of the short-circuit suppression layer, thus preventing and/or suppressing effects and/or local short circuits, and avoiding measurable and/or invisible impairments and defects in entire structure of the component due to inhomogenity.
