Nano materials and nano objects have taken an important role within the global research activities. Their applications such as flexible electrodes, thin film transistors, and drug delivery are of very high common interest. To assess the enormous potential of those sub micron sized materials a comprehensive knowledge about the physics and chemical properties has to be developed.
For example, even though nano particles are often claimed as very simple and robust, their synthesis and processing often is rather complex. Within this workshop a comprehensive overview about nano material, processing methods, and applications is given. In the area of Nano Carbon, Carbon Nanotubes (CNT) and Graphene will be discussed in the field of synthesis, applications and market potentials. A unique processing method using nano droplet for mini emulsions will be presented as well as conjugated organic polymers for novel application in the area of thin film technology.
