At present the European food market shows a clear surplus of meat products. Hence it is necessary to increase the customers' demand by means of new and more attractive products as well as services. In this connection the intelligent use of robots offers the possibility to reduce on the one hand the production costs and to improve the quality because of rationalized processes and on the other hand to increase the attractiveness of this branch by means of creative innovations and the innovative use of robots.
