Titel
Using social software for collaborative problem solving
Abstract
In this paper, a new approach is presented which uses Web 2.0 philosophy for collaborative online learning. In order to provide the missing link between learning content and practical application of theoretical knowledge, a dedicated social software tool was developed which allows collaborative work on complex problems, mutual feedback and peer learner interaction. Focus is put on stronger learner involvement and general empowerment of the individual learner through participation in online knowledge sharing and exchange activities.
