Abstract
(A1) Eine als flaechige Sensormatte ausgebildete Eingabevorrichtung, wobei die flaechige Sensormatte in eine Mehrzahl von Sensorfeldern unterteilt ist, die durch Beruehrung aktivierbar sind, wobei zumindest ein Teil der Sensorfelder in einem Mehrfachbelegungsbetriebsmodus jeweils mehrere unterschiedliche Sensorfeldbelegungen aufweist und wobei die unterschiedlichen Sensorfeldbelegungen eines Sensorfeldes einer unterschiedlichen Anzahl von Beruehrungen dieses Sensorfelds zugeordnet sind.

A section of the sensor fields has multiple different sensor field assignments in a multiple assignment operating mode. The different sensor field assignments (7b,7b') of a sensor field are associated with a different number of touches of the respective sensor field. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) a method for providing an output signal associated with a sensor field assignment; and (2) a computer program. USE - Input device for interacting with an operator for learning games, physical activities, sense of balance or body consciousness. ADVANTAGE - The input device is designed as a flat sensor pad which is sub-divided into multiple sensor fields that are activated by touch, and hence ensures implementing complex applications in a simple and reliable manner.
