Abstract
(A1) Verfahren zur Veresterung, Veretherung oder Silylierung von Polysaccharid oder dessen Derivate mittels einer Veresterungsreagenz, Veretherungsreagenz oder Silylierungsreagenz in Gegenwart einer ionischen Fluessigkeit, worin die Menge an ionischer Fluessigkeit 2 bis 25 Gew.-% bezogen auf das Polysaccharid oder dessen Derivate betraegt.

 

DE 102009012161 A1 UPAB: 20100928 NOVELTY - Esterification, etherification or silylation of polysaccharide or its derivatives using an esterification-, etherification- or silylation-reagent in the presence of an ionic liquid (2-25 wt.% based on polysaccharide or its derivatives), is claimed. USE - The process is useful for esterification, etherification or silylation of polysaccharide or its derivatives comprising starch, cellulose, xylan or chitosan (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The process: utilizes less amount of ionic liquid and provides easy recovery of liquid reaction medium; and provides product with high yield. The ionic liquid is non-toxic and environment-friendly.
