Titel
Characterizing the scaling behaviour of the ventricular repolarisation
Abstract
Within this contribution we propose a method which evaluates the temporal scaling behaviour of the ventricular repolarization (VR) with respect to varying heart rates. Thereto, correlation optimized warping (COW) is applied to signal segments extracted from the surface ECG. Our results indicate an inhomogeneous behaviour regarding the temporal scaling of the VR for healthy persons. Considering the miscellaneous problems own to typical methods for QT-interval-analysis it should be tried to incorporate the scaling behaviour in the analysis in the futureresearch.
