Abstract
Wertstromdesign (value stream mapping) ist eine heute immer häufiger eingesetzte Methode, Material- und auch Informationflüsse in einer Fabrik von Tor-zu-Tor fließen zu lassen. Variantenreichtum und Komplexität verlangen jedoch auch in diesem Umfeld nach Unterstützung durch Simulationstools. Mit den gängigen Simulationen wird eine Modellierung einer gesamten Tor-zu-Tor Produktion zur aufwendigen Unternehmung. Die Autoren stellen in diesem Beitrag eine Simulationmethode vor, die den pragmatischen Ansprüchen des Wertstromdesigns entspricht.

 

Value stream mapping is a method increasingly used to enable the mapping of door-to-door information and material flows in a factory. In the context of growing product variations and complexity this calls for the support of simulation tools. When using conventional simulation systems, modelling a complete door-to-door production becomes an expensive and time-consuming undertaking. In this article, the authors present a simulationmethod that suits the practical requirements of value stream mapping.
