This paper introduces two programs-ZIDDI and BAUKAS-which enable the user to store a representation of three- dimensional objects by the interactive drawing of two views of the objects on a computer display. ZIDDI allows the user to draw the objects directly as a set of points, lines, etc. in two views using a command language and coordinate transformations (rotation, translation, etc.). BAUKAS permits the construction of very complicated objects as a combination of various primitives, which have previously been drawn using ZIDDI and are then available as commands. Both programs were written in FORTRAN II and are two of the possible input modes of the display programming system PRADIS.
