Teleoperierte mobile Roboter warten Prozessanlagen

Eine wichtige Aufgabe des Personals industrieller Prozessanlagen besteht darin, regelmäßig Inspektions- und Wartungsaufgaben durchzuführen. Viele dieser Arbeiten sind einfache Routinearbeiten, die durch den Einsatz mobiler Roboter automatisiert werden können. Im Rahmen des Projekts ImRoNet (www.imronet.de) wurde ein mobiles Robotersystem aufgebaut, das nicht nur Inspektionsfahrten, sondern auch Handhabungsaufgaben durchführen kann.

An important task of operators of industrial process plants consists in regular inspection and maintenance of the equipment. Many of these tasks can be automated by the use of tele-operated mobile robots. With a recently developed software framework, the robot is not only able to inspect but to assist the operator semi-autonomously.
