Titel
Erstellung eines isothermen, zonalen Modells mit Impulserhaltung
Abstract

Zonal models subdivide an air volume (e.g. a room) into several subzones linked by flow paths. In this paper a new formulation of the zonal model is presented. Additionally to the mass conservation the impulse conservation is implemented. The model consists of two main components, the volumes (mass conservation) and the flow paths (momentum conservation). Based on the speed of the entering air flows into the volumes and the pressure- and height difference of two adjacent volumes, the acceleration of the air mass flow rate through the flow path is calculated. First tests show a good prediction of the global air flow pattern.
