Titel
Non-linear models for electro-acoustical equipments
Abstract
A procedure is proposed for adjusting a non-linear mathematical model to experimental values. The starting point is the individual registration of the first three harmonics as a function of frequency to different amplitudes of sinusoidal input signals. The comprehensive material is described by a model combining a simple structure with a scheme for adapting this structure to the measurements. The so-called Wiener-Hammerstein structure which has been used consists of three parts in series: a memory-less non-linearity preceded and followed by a linear, time-invariant sub-system. The characteristic dependency of distortions in electro-acoustical equipment on amplitude makes it possible to synthesize the non-linearity as a polynomial as well as to identify the amplitude response of the linear parts.
