Title

On the traffic performance evaluation of processor systems by stochastic Petri nets

Abstract
The processor systems are modelled and analysed by stochastic Petri nets. The analysis is based on the equivalence of stochastic Petri nets with Markov chains. In particular, two approaches to the traffic performance evaluation are presented. Additionally, the random switch included in the stochastic Petri net concept is discussed. Examples are used in order to illustrate the applicability of the approaches.
