Abstract
In the project 'Chip-Care' a new technological approach was developed, with one it is possible to run efficiently bio specific analysis in the area of microbial diagnosis and in the medical sector. The main focus is the usage in the point-of-care (POC) analysis and diagnosis in the fields of food and medicine. As innovation it is feasible to conduct parallel evaluation of multiple parameters with the developed, miniaturized measuring system. Within the project the three sub-projects SPR-measuring device, microfluidic/chip-packaging and functionalization/immobilization were successfully processed und the following results were achieved: a universally usable, free functionalizable and with a application-specific microfluidic system combinable sensorchip for research and development, as well as analysis routines on the basis of lable-free detection, an analysis-chip for zoonosis (salmonella) verification in the field of food monitoring, an analysis-chip for marker identification (lectin, antibodies) in medical diagnosis (human diagnosis). Within the sub-project microfluidic/chip-packaging application-specific microfluidic systems for functionalization and measurement for the developed SPR-chips were devised, manufactured and successfully tested in different applications by the IWS.
