Titel
35 GHz bandwidth photonic space switch with travelling wave electrodes on InP
Abstract
A 2*2 Mach-Zehnder interferometer based switch with a large optical bandwidth of 35 GHz is reported. The design and the characteristics of switches with travelling wave electrodes are discussed. The realised travelling wave electrode design meets the demands for ultrahigh-speed demultiplexing beyond 100 Gbit/s.
