Titel
Stable operation of two OEIC-based tunable polarization-diversity heterodyne receivers
Abstract
Summary form only given. Stable operation of two optoelectronic-integrated- circuit heterodyne receivers (OEICs) in an experimental system is reported. The OEICs are monolithically integrated on InP and include a tunable laser, a passive polarization diversity circuit, and balanced photodiodes. The local oscillators (LOs) on the chips are four-section DBR lasers with a gain section and a phase section between two Bragg sections.
